Program Overview:
The University of Seoul is delighted to host the International Research Internship Program, designed for students from our global partner universities. This program provides a unique opportunity to engage in academic research and cultural exchange in the vibrant city of Seoul, South Korea.
Program Highlights:
Semester Internship
Duration: 16 weeks during the spring or fall semester
Credit: 3 academic credits
Work Requirement: 160+ hours of research work
This Semester Internship run as Visiting Student Program
Summer Internship
Duration: 6 weeks (July 2 - August 15, 2025)
Credit: 3 academic credits
Work Requirement: 160+ hours of research work
This Summer Internship run as Seoul International Summer School Ⅰ Program
Key Benefits:
• Collaborate with expert faculty and peers in state-of-the-art labs
• Gain valuable international research experience
• Explore Korean culture through campus life and local activities
Eligibility:
• Undergraduate or graduate students from UOS global partner universities
• Specific requirements by each lab (details on the reverse side)
Application Deadlines:
• Spring Semester Internship: October 30 (prior year)
• Summer Internship: April 15
• Fall Semester Internship: April 30
Cost:
• Summer Internship: 2,400,000 KRW (approx. 1,650 USD)
‣ On-campus accommodation, cultural field trips included
• Semester Internship: vary by department
- Business Administration: 2,044,000 KRW (approx. 1,400 USD)
- Engineering: 2,701,000 KRW (approx. 1,860 USD)
- Sport Science: 2,742,000 KRW (approx. 1,890 USD)
‣ Can take up to 18 credits per semester including the internship
